Living In A Snow Globe

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a snow globe?

A Snow Globe

This winter has been a particularly harsh one in our little corner of the world.  There are times when the children look out the windows and feel as if they were indeed living in a snow globe.

A view from our upstairs classroom.

We asked the children "What would you do if you lived in a snow globe?"  Here are a few of their answers.

Five year old D. said " I would try to find a way to get out!"

Five year old S. said "I would wait in the globe for it to be spring."

Four year old A. said "I would freeze!  It's cold in there!"

The full day children posing in one of our playgrounds.

Here's hoping that spring arrives soon!

Pancake Tuesday

Today was a yummy day at our little yellow school.  This morning we made pancakes to celebrate Pancake Tuesday! The pancake recipe we used was the same one as the mix the children made for their families in December 2012 (blog post What's In the Bag?)

We set out our recipe and ingredients.
