A Trip to The Farm

Last Friday we went on a field trip to a local farm.  It was our first field trip of the school year.  The excitement had been mounting and finally the day had arrived! Children, teachers and parents boarded the bus for a wonderful farm adventure.

The first thing we did was visit with the animals.  They were having breakfast.

We went to the barn classroom to learn a little bit about pumpkins and gourds.

We saw vegetables growing in the vegetable garden and brought some back to our school.

At the end of our morning, we all got to choose a pumpkin to take home.

We even saw Elsa and Olaf!

We had a spectacular morning together at the farm.

Giving Thanks

The first month of the new school year has passed so quickly and the Thanksgiving weekend is upon us.  As we take some time to reflect on our first weeks together, there is so much to be thankful for.

To our parent community, we are thankful that you chose our little yellow school for your children. We are thankful for the children who race through our door each morning, happy to be here and eager to learn.  Each moment spent with them is truly a precious gift.

Here are some pictures of the children having fun with the scarves during Mrs. L.'s weekly Kindermusik class.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
