A Wonderful Morning at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection

Last week the children, teachers and parents of our little yellow school spent a morning at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg. 

The McMichael houses a collection of Canadian art with works by the Group of Seven and their contemporaries along with First Nation and Inuit art. The grounds are beautiful and feature walking trails.

We began with a tour of the gallery.

After our tour we made our own "landscapes" to take back to school with us.

Thank you to all the parents who accompanied us on our trip. It was lovely to spend a wonderful morning together at the art gallery.
