The week began on Monday with Chinese New Year! Ms. W. gave a lovely presentation to the children. They enjoyed learning about the Chinese Zodiac and exploring the items she brought in to show us.
The children who celebrate Chinese New Year brought in treats for their classmates. The children also received traditional lucky money envelopes.

On Tuesday it was Pancake Tuesday! The children had a delicious snack of pancakes, syrup, fruit and milk. It was yummy!
On Friday we celebrated Valentine's Day! Our school was a sea of red, pink and white.
The children handed out treats that they brought for one another.

Almost six year old M. helped her friend, three year old R., hand out her treats. |
Our whole school got together for a delightful Valentine's Brunch. Seeing all of the children together, mixing and mingling, made my heart sing. We had a great time.
Wishing everyone a very happy and relaxing Valentine's Day/Family Day long weekend!
