All the Little Stars ~ Our 2019 Annual Concert and Graduation ~ Part Two

It was now time for the graduates to prepare for their graduation.

Getting Ready

Almost Ready

Earlier this year, one of our graduates wrote a story about being a graduate. In her story, she writes, "I have wanted to be a graduate my whole life!"

I like being a graduate!  I help people.  I have wanted to be a graduate my whole life!

How does it feel to be a graduate?  It feels awesome!

We are ready!

Our 2019 Graduates

Our 2019 Graduates

When our graduates started at our little yellow school three or four years ago, something we all believed we had was time.  Now that our time is coming to an end, we can't believe how quickly it has gone and how precious it has been. We have relished this time together and have so many cherished memories.

We had such a spectacular group of graduates this year.  They set an exemplary example for their classmates.  They are wonderful children who have so many great things ahead of them.  We have known some since they were born.  During concert rehearsals, I could not bring myself to look at these little graduates as I would tear up.  As much as we would like to hold on to this group for a little while longer, they are ready to spread their wings and fly!

A parent of this year's graduate joined us on stage and spoke on behalf of all the parents.  Thank you for your very moving words.

A.'s dad saying a few words.

For the first time ever, this year's graduates also wanted to say something.

Here is what they had to say.  (You can click on the images to make them larger.)

There are no words to describe how touched we were by their messages.  We were also very impressed at how confident and poised they were.  Thank you graduates.

Now it was on to the cake!  Congratulations to our graduates!

None of this would have been possible without the support of all of our wonderful families.  Thank you for believing in us.  Thank you to the teachers for the love and guidance they give to the children each day.  Together - teachers and families - we have been a great team.  Lastly and most importantly, thank you to all our students for bringing the sunshine to our days at school.

A huge THANK YOU to A.'s family for providing the sound system, the music and the snow cones!   It helped to make this evening one of our best ever!
