Our Annual Concert and Graduation Part 3 ~ Thank You

As we are all aware, Miss N. will be leaving us after eight years together as she is moving overseas.  She was not able to be at our graduation and had the following message for all of us.

Miss N. and The Children

Dear Children, Parents and Teachers,

I wish I was here today to meet with all of you and say goodbye.  My best wishes to the students of this school.  I wish all the graduates very bright futures ahead.  Thank you all for the love and support you have given me over the last eight years.  I will cherish the beautiful memories of this little yellow school forever.  Thanks also to all the teachers for their lovely friendship and warmth always.

I will miss all of you a lot and wish everyone the best for the future.  Goodbye to all until we meet again.

With lots of love,

Miss N.

Thank you, families, for supporting the work of your children and the teachers at our little yellow school.  In coming tonight you are communicating to your children how important the work is that they do at school.  Your children love to shine and they especially love to shine for you.  We feel privileged to work with all of you.

A special thank you to all the grandparents who are here and whom we have seen throughout the year.  You may not know it, but you are the stars that shine bright in the eyes of your grandchildren.  Your interest means the world to them.

Thank you teachers for your dedication to making our students all that they can be.

Thank you students.  You make us feel proud of you each day, and on evenings like this, our hearts positively swell with pride.  Your accomplishments are the reasons that we enjoy coming to school each day.

When you think of the little yellow school in the future, we hope you will remember the memories that we created together.  I would like to share one last thing.  One of last year's graduates, Christopher, was asked by his mom which school he liked better.  Did he like his new Catholic school or the little yellow school? Christopher quickly replied that he liked the little yellow school best.  She asked him why as his new school had things like a gym and a library.

Christopher - Last Year's Graduate

He looked at her and said, "Mom, you don't understand.  We were a family."

Thank you for being part of our family at the little yellow school.
